    How many pounds of Barite in 1 cu ft. I have a 4100 cu ft tank and i need to know how many 100 lb sacks of barite i can put in it

    This site says barities are 120 lb/ft³:

    4100 ft³ x 120 lb/ft³ x 1 sack/100 lb = 4920 sacks.

    That assumes the sack itself has no volume and doesn't interfere with the packing density. Reality is that there may be small unfillable spaces between sacks. You might lose about 10% from those effects.

      The unit for measuring volume of barite is a "sack". Normally when storing barite in a tank you do not actually store it in a physical sack so there is no volume loss.
