any one knows the proccess. i know the answer
Rearranged, the question is: How much will 100% weigh, when 6.5% weighs 115mg?

    115 x 100/6.5 = 1.8g (1769mg)

You need 115mg, you know that your solid contains 6.5% of what you need, so it is a proportion calculation.

        Re: Convert mL to mg

        Hello....

I need to take 2 types of medication @ 400mg per week; the medication is as follows:

        Strength: 100mg/ml
        Vial: 5 ml each

So am I correct in thinking that 1 vial equates to 500mg?

If I need 4000mg over the course 10 week period, I would need 8 vials?

        ------------------------------

The other is also 400mg per week:

Each ml of oil contain: 75 mg
        Size: 10 ml vial

And here, 1 vial equals 750mg

If I need 4000mg over the course 10 week period, I would need 6 vials?

If I am incorrect please let me know

        Kind regards

            On hand: 125mg/5 mL
How many mLs do you need for each dose?
How many mLs do you need for a one-day supply?

I have no idea what all the pharmaceutical abbreviations mean.

If a single dose is 200 mg, and it is mixed 125 mg/mL, then
              200 mg x 5 mL/125 mg = 8 mL for a single 200 mg dose.

(to divide, I multiplied by the reciprocal)

Thatn depends on what "mlg" is. Do you mean milligram (the proper symbol is mg)?

14 mg is 0.014 g, an extremely small amount, more or less a gold fleck.
A troy ounce is about 31 g so this is about a 1/2200 of that.

the substance is a thin paste. It is a wormer for large dogs and I have a small dog. He needs 6.6mg. of this paste for his weight.
