Re: What is thicker 80 Gauge or 60 Gauge

For most things measured in gauge, larger numbers mean thinner.

But for plastic film, 1 gauge = 0.01 mil, so larger numbers mean thicker.
    80 gauge * 0.01 = 0.8 mil thick
    60 gauge * 0.01 = 0.6 mil thick

Re: what is the millimeter measuremnt for 80 guage

We are looking for conversion of the 80 guage to millimeters?
      Thanks

As mentioned above, 80 gauge is 0.8 mil or 0.0008 in,
        therefore 0.0203 mm or 20.3 m.
