  • $/MT (Metric Tons) to $/M3 (Cubic Meters)

    Hi All,

Does someone knows how do you convert $/MT (Metric Tons) to $/M3 (Cubic Meters) and Cts/Gal (Cents/Galon) to $/M3 (Cubic Meters).

We are talking about different Diesel Oil prices.

    Thanks and happy new year,

    Franco

Do you know the density or specific gravity of the oil?

I found data for a range of values:
    Diesel fuel oil 20 to 60 at 15 C is approximately 820 - 950 kilogram/cubic meter.

That would be enough to provide you with a very rough estimate, but if you want anything more accurate I would need to know the density or the specific type of oil.

      MT /0.86 = m3

if you have Density of the material you can have the volume.

          Density:mass/volume
