Is 750 ml 14-18 oz or 20-24 oz?

          No.

If you mean fluid ounces, amswer is in post #2.
If you mean what is the weight, it depends on the density. From the surgeon reference, I am guessing these are fake boobs. Assuming saline, about 26.6 oz.

According to BrewSupplies.com, 1 oz (presumably fluid) = 30 ml.
                http(colon)//brewsupplies(dot)com/conversion(dot)htm

                750 ml / 30 = 25 fl. oz.

                1 'standard drink' = 5 fl.oz.

                25 fl.oz. / 5 = 5 'standard drinks' per bottle.

Note that some restaurants pour 6 oz. glasses as standard, yielding about 4.17 drinks per bottle.

True if qualified by "approximately equal"

The exact relationship is 1 US gallon = 128 fl oz = 3785.411784 mL, exactly.
                  As given in post #2, 750 mL = 25.360 5170 oz (rounded)
                  1 fl oz = 29.573 5296 mL (rounded)

5 or 4 drinks may be poured as 150 mL and 187.5 mL respectively.

then i'm getting ripped off! a pint of whiskey is only $10 and a 750ml is $20..... so they're shorting me 6 ounces..... i'll never buy a 750ml unless its on sale again.....

5 or six ounces may be a fairlystandard wine poryion, but it's quite a bit of booze!
