There are 1000 liters in 1 cubic meter

Unless you're trying to convert from pressurized volume to un-pressurized volume.

Apparently due to european regulation since jannuary 2010 the figure is 3.85 litres to a meter of gas! previously there was uncertainty with several differant figures from 3.65 to 3.85 but the goverment has now clarified its 3.85

Can you confirm what Government source has provided this clarification?

1 L of LPG is 0.254m at standard temp and pressure which is 15C and 101.3kPa

Source is here, this forum doesn't let you add links for some strange reason...

                      For any physical volume, 1 m = 1000 L

(the only exception is if a material changes state, like LPG going from liquid to gas, then the conditions of measurement must be stated)
