  • kWth or Nm3/h Ng to kWh

    Hi All,

    First post so be gentle.

    I am trying to calculate the running costs of a gas burner and the manual says it is rated to use either;

    400 kWth or 43 Nm3/h Ng

    I need to convert this to kWh in order to calculate the cost of the gas. Any help appreciated.

    I assume the th in 400 kWth is a subscript, meaning "thermal." While it is running, it consumes 400 kW of gas. Multiply by hours run (per week, month, year) to get kWh for the same period.

      I thought that might be the case. Thanks for the clarification.
