Conversion Kg/Sec to Cubic Meters/Sec (Scm/Sec)

  • Conversion Kg/Sec to Cubic Meters/Sec (Scm/Sec)

    If anyone can please let me know.

    A power plant buring Gas is giving me Kg/Sec and i need that converted to Scm/Sec "Standard Cubic Meters Per Second".

    You need to know the density of the gas at "standard" conditions, or else you need to know the molecular weight of the gas and the "standard" temperature and pressure.

      hmm i think its natural gas. once i get density the conversion should be easy i hope.

        The multiplying factor for getting conversion from kg-scm is 1.423.
        For 1.423 scm = 1 kg.

          As per my knowledge, i Kg. of Natural Gas = 1.31 SCM

            1 scm = 0.814 kg
