                    The post office uses length plus girth. However, I think the airlines all use the sum of length + width + height.

                    The 62" could be many different dimensions that add to 62, but an example would be 32" x 20" x 10". However, it could also be 21" x 21" x 20".

                            45, but you have to measure the length, width, and height of the suitcase and add them together.
