  • wind speed to psi

    We are doing a science project involving the force 100 mph wind speeds on a house. Our house model is 1' tall. We need to convert mph to psi so we can use an air compressor in our project.

    Does anyone know how to convert wind speed to force on a wall...measured in psi?

    Thanks.

    Re: wind speed to psi

    5 mph = .12 psi of force
    10 = .5
    15 = 1.11
    20 =1.97
    25 = 3.07
    30 = 4.43

      Can you expose the equation, I mean the way that you calculate it, I need to go further.
      Thanks a lot.
