Is this fuel consumption for an engine? You need to know the power is running at to determine grams of fuel consumed per hour (which is a function of power). Then you need to know the density of the fuel to convert from mass to volume.

Re: convert from g/kWh to l/h

So, you have (something) that provides 1 Kilo Watt Hour if you use 267 Grams of (it).

You want to convert that to Liters per Hour?

        That would depend on:

        1. How many kWh will you be producing per Hour?

        2. What is the density (g/l) of your (it)?

        3. Are you using measured efficiency or hoping to achieve 100% efficient conversion from the (it)?

Read post #2 and determine the missing data.

You need to provide some additional data. See posts #2 or #4. There is no answer with the partial info you have.

Ok to trying to figure out fuel consumption on a tractor. specs list...
                  228g/kwh
                  73 kw power
                  270 nm of torque

Is it possible to convert that info into Gal/Hour or Liter/Hour?
                  Thanks

When producing 73 kW of power, it consumes 228 g/kWh x 73 kW = 16644 g/h or 16.644 kg/h of fuel. You need to know the fuel density, but if it is diesel, that is about 0.85 kg/L, so about 19.6 L/h.

If not puytting out full power, consumptuion will be lower.

Re: convert from g/kWh to l/h

Thanks . I have understand your answer. Can you tell me that how can i know the
fuel density ? so that i can convert (g/Kw.h) into L/h

I have a gasoline generator. It has
maximum Power output = 5.5 Kw
Rated Output Power = 5.0 Kw
                        fuel consumption <= 374 g/kw.h

I have already converted it into Kg/h but I want to know in L/h. As I don't know the density of Gasoline? and How can i know that?
                        Thanks

If i am using only 2Kw from the generator then according to the load, Will the fuel consumption be less? I was told that no matter how much Kw I use (1 or 2 Kw), Generator will produce 5.5 Kw and it will consume fuel according to 5.5 Kw.

It can vary a little lot to lot so if you want high accuracy, measure the density with hydrometer or other instrument. For a "typical" figure, gasoline is lighter than diesel, about 0.73 kg/L.

At lower power, fuel consumption will be less, but it will not decrease linearly. It takes some fuel to idle the engine at no load.
