    The answer is a bit ambiguous because the "S" in SCF is supposed to mean Standard. Since there are at least three standards, probably more, it actually means "not
    so Standard." You need to be sure which standard is in use. Per this Wikipedia article:

    I am guessing 14.696 psi, 68 F, but you should try to confirm this. The average molecular weight of dry air is 28.97 Da, so the molar mass is 28.97 g/mol, 28.97 lb/lbmol, etc

    Using the Wiki data, the mass of 1 scf air is 0.002641 lbmol/SCF x 28.97 lb/lbmol = 0.07651 lb/SCF
    1 lb/min = 60 lb/h
    60 lb/h x 1 SCF/0.07651 lb = 784.2 SCFH

    Just to reiterate, this relationship varies with temperature and pressure, and is different for gases other than air.
