You need to know the density of the oil which can vary lot to lot according to refinery and crude oil source. However, 0.85 kg/L (0.85 t/m) is a typical density.

    Using it, 1 t x 1 m/0.85 t = 1.8 m (1 m = 1 kL)

density of the furnace oil is 0.97. Then 1 metricton furnace oil is equal to howmany kilo liters

1 t x 1 m/0.97 t = 1.03 cubic meters or kiloliters (same thing). For any other density, just divide by density.
