In a particular research paper on Gastrin Releasing Peptide, the trials were using 160Pmol/kg
    GRP Molecular weight is:
    1130.3 g/mol
    The molecular formula is: C53H75N15O11S

I need to convert this to mg or mcg to understand the dosing as the peptide is available to me in lyophilized form.

Thanks for any help with this conversion.

    Pico- is the prefix meaning 10-12 so 160 x 10-12 mol/kg x 1130.3 g/mol = 181 x 10-9 g/kg, or using prefixes, 181 ng/kg

(0.181 g/kg, if you must have it in micrograms)

Note: If it is available in some other form (different chemical formula) you need the molar mass of that form, but the same process as above.
