  • Assistance with feet per minute to CFM for 6" ducting

    Aloha. We are installing a filter system for a laser cutter and need some help converting feet per minute to CFM... looks like we have average 900 feet per minute coming out of duct fan. What would CFM be? Mahalo!

    Calculate the cross-sectional area of the ducting where you measured the flow. Convert that to square feet and multiply.

    feet/minute * square feet = cubic feet/minute
