  • Molar concentration of RNA

    Hello
Could you please help me with this below calculation?

I have total RNA (isolated from human fibroblast) of concentration 445ng/uL.
I need 10uM of RNA for the following reaction:

    RNA (10uM) - 1uL
    buffer - 2uL
    other reagents
The total volume of the reaction is 20 uL.

I am not quite sure how to calculate.
    Thank you

The M is shorthand for moles per liter, mol/L. The only way to convert between molar and mass concentrations is to know the molecular weight. Do you know the molecular weight of your RNA?
