I am trying to calculate the area of my land. I have distance in meters 27.75M. And bearing reads S19-07W. how do I convert to digital to use the calculator here.

Quadrantal conversion
NE: Use numeric value as is
SE: Subtract numeric part from 180° (which you may need to represent as 179°60' to handle "borrowing" for subtraction)
SW: Add 180° to numeric part
NW: Subtract numeric part from 360 (or 359°60' if a "borrow" is involved)
As example, your NW line 359°60' - 7°30' = 352°30', which you enter as 352/30. In the calculator, distance is the first field then the angle (You could also enter angle as 352.5°).
Your SW line is 257/24 in entry representation form or 257.25° in decimal degrees.
