  • converting lpg gas meter reading to lpg litres to calculate cost of lpg used.

I would like to check how to do this conversion correctly.
i looked up an old forum which stated 1 kg of liquid propane = 1.96 litres = 0.54 cu.m of gas
    my meter reading 6/12/20 00032 585m.cu
    my meter reading 24/12/20 00047 489m.cu
    so i am dividing the usage 14.904/0.54 =27.6 x 1.96L = 54.096 litre used.
    at a cost of .50 per litre = 27.05
    cost per day - 27.05/18 = 1.50
os there an easier way of calculating the usage? and am i correct above?

thanks i'm grateful of any help

If your units are all correct, it seems right. It is a bit odd that they meter the gas to a precision of 0.001 m.

Thank you for the reply. I just think the usage is high as it is only for an area of 37m underfloor heating: maybe it is not working efficiently
