dilution of tdz ?

hi all ....I lack a scale to accurately wgt out my tdz and other growth regulators I need a .5um soln of Thidiazuron molwgt 220.25 g·mol but only want to make a 250ml batch. So I figure its 0.110125g/l I have a 1mg/ml soln of it. I plan to take 1ml in 99ml to get a .01mg/ml soln. if I wanted a liter soln then i''d need 1.01250.g /l so for 250ml i'd need 11.01250/4 or 4.75 ml in 250 ml. just need someone to double check my logic and if they know of a online conversion prg that would do this...thx steve

If you take 1ml of this solution and add 99ml of water, you will get a 0.01mg/ml solution. If you want to make a 250ml batch of 0.5um solution of Thidiazuron with a molecular weight of 220.25 g/mol, you will need to add 4.75 ml of your 1mg/ml solution to 245.25 ml of water (or any other solvent). This will give you a 0.110125g/l or 0.01mg/ml solution of Thidiazuron in a total volume of 250ml.

I'm sorry, I think I misunderstood the figures being used. Please clarify your question. Avoid using non-standard notation where possible. For reference, μm (um) is a micrometer, μM is a micromole. It's better if you use g/mol or similar. If you want 0.5 micrometers of Thidiazuron please update us. Also verify that if you are referring to moles, whether they are post 2019 moles or pre 2019.
